Montessori of Valencia is committed to providing the highest quality learning environment for children between the ages of 6 weeks to 6 years. Our objective is simple…provide an atmosphere of learning that is LOVING and SAFE. We have created a prepared environment to provide our students with the opportunities of freedom, choice, and exploration.
Our infant program begins at 6 weeks and continues until 18 months. Each child is nurtured as a unique individual and is encouraged to explore in a beautiful, safe, and orderly space with materials. These materials are carefully chosen for their developmentally appropriate qualities, such as sensory input or educational properties. A critical opportunity for development, these first years of life are an extraordinary period of cognitive and emotional growth, brain development, and language acquisition. Our Montessori-trained teachers form close bonds with the children, nurturing language and body awareness development through freedom of movement and exploration. Under their care, the children establish a strong sense of security and autonomy, laying a foundation for lifelong learning.
Our Toddler program begins at 18 months and continues until 36 months. Our toddlers are encouraged to be independent and to learn important skills such as socializing, sharing, and communicating. In addition to their in-class learning, we ensure that our students are active as well as working on their gross motor skills. Our Toddler playground is equipped with swings, a climbing wall, and more! The teachers in this room will document your child’s day including their sleeping, eating, diapering and daily activities, as well as any items that are needed.
Based on our assessment of your child, the early preschool class can begin at 24 months and is equipped with introductory Montessori materials and a full academic program. We encourage our Early Preschoolers to be independent and teach important skills such as socializing, sharing, communicating, and potty learning. As your children grow, we want to ensure we are providing them with developmentally appropriate materials, dramatic play, and engaging activities.
Our Preschool program offers the opportunity for children to continue developing their skills in Language, Mathematics, Sensorial work, Science, Social Sciences, and Practical Life experiences. Implementing the Montessori philosophy in their environment, we encourage daily respect for their teachers, friends, and environment.
Kindergarten Program *students who turn 5 by October 31st are eligible*
We offer a Full Time Kindergarten Program that offers your child
6:30-9:00-Before school care
9:00-3:00- Hands on Kindergarten instruction
3:00-6:30- After-school care.
Our Kindergarten program offers students a vast array of experiences through the Montessori curriculum. These students delve into more advanced and detailed Montessori work in order to accommodate the traditional education they will soon be transitioning into during their educational journey. Consistency and repetition are key in building a foundation for lifelong learning. We are committed and will continue to provide our outstanding curriculum and a great Kindergarten experience.
